September 27, 1896 - April 17, 1968
Mrs. Velba Edith Fincher, age 71, 418 Carson Street, widow of W. W. Fincher died in a El Dorado Hospital at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and made her home in Camden for the past 43 years. Survivors are one son, Harold Lee Fincher of Camden; one brother, Winfrey E. Lewis, Smackover; two sisters, Mrs. Walter York, El Dorado, and Mrs. Robert Burns, Camden. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 p.m. Friday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with Proctor's in charge. (Camden News - April 18, 1968)
