January 15, 1931 ~ June 3, 2020 (age 89)
Howard W. Burton, 89, of Pangburn, Arkansas passed away June 3, 2020. He was born to the late Boyd and Vola Burton on January 15, 1931 in West Virginia.
Howard served in the United States Air Force for twenty-four years. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Howard was a proud 32nd Degree Mason. He loved to tinker on lawnmowers and old cars during his retirement days.
He is preceded in death by brothers Hubert Burton, Harry Burton, sisters Helen Burton Browning and Ann Burton Supthin.
Howard is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Charlene Burton; sons Billy (Tonya) Tucker, David (Karen) Tucker, Charlie (Kelly) Tucker and Reggie Tucker; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and very special people Tonya Todd and Paula Robinson.
Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2020 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Old Lebanon Cemetery in Lynn.
State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required at all times, 50 attendees or less. Maintain social distancing. No hugs or handshakes please.
