Jacob Burl Hoofman, 95, of Judsonia, died Friday October 28, 2011. He was born January 13, 1916 to the late Josiah and Delia Hulsey Hoofman in Judsonia.
He was a member of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Marie West Hoofman; children, Richard Allen Hoofman, Carole Lynn Ross and Helen Marie Golden; stepchildren, Richard Miller, Mary Francis Lowery, Betty Jean Allison and Wayne Miller; brothers, Conley Hoofman, Eli Hoofman and O'Neal Hoofman; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; late wife, Eileen Hoofman; son, Stanley Hoofman, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
