Private—Enlisted at Monticello, Arkansas, May 8, 1861; served to the end of the war, and surrendered at Greensboro, North Carolina, April 26, 1865; born in Louisiana, c1841; died in Arkansas in 1883; listed in Drew county 1860 census; occupation carpenter; his widow Mary E. Hackney applied for pension from Drew county in 1911 (Pension #16819 approved August 8, 1911).
