February 2, 1906 - December 3, 1966
Orren Orville Curtis, aged 60 of 457 Wells St., died in the Ouachita Hospital at 9:35 a.m. Saturday. Mr. Curtis had lived in Camden for 21 years and was retired from BagPak, Inc. here. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Burgess Curtis; one daughter, Mrs. Kittye Jo Evans of Thornton; two brothers, Murry Curtis of Hamburg and Hubert Curtis of Ferriday, La.; one sister, Mrs. Marie Scott of Lakewood, Calif; and by two grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery. (Camden News - December 5, 1966)
