Fanny Shaw Graham
March 25, 1918 - July 13, 2020
Fanny Shaw Graham, 102 of Walnut Ridge; passed away July 13, 2020 in the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Born March 25, 1918 in Saffell; daughter of the late, John and Mary Morgan Shaw. She was united in marriage to Ira Spencer Graham on March 5, 1934. The young couple moved to Missouri and cleared land by hand as a team. Fanny chopped wood, sawed timbers, picked cotton, and worked on her family’s Dairy farm. She was also a loving mother and dedicated housewife. After her children were grown, she worked in the Cafeteria at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ira; two sons, James and Gerald Graham; two grandchildren, Shelly Ann Graham Berg and Jeff Graham; two sisters, Betty Pruitt and Gladys Blackburn; two brothers, Aaron and Otho Shaw.
Survivors include her son, John Graham of Little Rock; two daughter-n-laws, JoAnn Graham Horak of Dallas and Sharon Graham Enke of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Spencer (Rhonda) Graham of Monticello, Cynthia (David) Butler of Bald Knob and David (Marsha) Graham of St. Louis; twelve great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be July 16, 2020 at 11 A.M. in the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with Bro. Derek Collins officiating. Pallbearers will be her church family and friends. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 10 A.M. till 11 A.M. at the church Thursday.
