Alvin Lee Seward, age 72, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Seward was born March 3, 1938, in Stamps, Arkansas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church where he served as a guitarist and was also a member of the Campfire Singers.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Edna Seward of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melinda and Jeff Colbert of Texarkana and Sheila Peterson of Steelton, PA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Ronda Seward of Texarkana, and Terry and Peri Seward of Texarkana; one brother, William L. Seward of Texarkana, Texas, one sister, Irene Bearden of Texarkana, Arkansas, ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Don Brankel and Rev. Brian McDonald officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens.
