Grady B Morris, 73, of Ozark died Wednesday, Julu 4,2012, in Fort Smith.
He was an Army veteran and was retired from the U.S. Forest Service. He attended Webb city Baptist Church. He was born in Big Flat in Johnson County to Robert C. and Martha Dickerson Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy and Curtis Ray, and one sister, Avis Brumley.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Sue Bearden Morris; two daughters, Sherry Pottorff and Sheila Masingale, both of Ozark; two sisters, Ruthie Wood of Ozark and Pauline Rankin of Hot Springs Village; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services was at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark, with Rev Chuck Gilliland and Rev Ted Darling officiating.
Palbearers were Dime Nine Gang, U.S. Forest Service employes, Deltec Timber and Tim Cline Logging.

He was born December 18, 1938 in Big Flatt, Johnson County Arkansas to Robert C. and Martha Dickerson Morris.

He was retired from The U.S. Forest Service and an Army Veteran. He attended Webb City Baptist Church and was a member of the Dime a Nine Gang of Ozark Country Club and a member of the Bee Bluff Hunting Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy and Ray Morris; one sister, Avis Brumley.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chuck Gilliland and Reverend Ted Darling officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Sue Bearden Morris of Ozark; two daughters, Sherry Pottorff and Sheila Masingale both of Ozark; two sisters, Ruthie Wood of Ozark and Pauline Rankin of Hot Springs Village; four grandchildren, Nathan and Lindsay Pottorff and Ethan and Eli Masingale; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Dime a Nine Gang, U.S. Forest Service past and present employees, Deltic Timber and Tim Cline Logging.
