*Obituary
William "Cotton" McPherson, age 80, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was born on May 29, 1936, in Whaley, Texas, the son of Loaren Wheeler McPherson and Bernice Markham McPherson.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Rhonda Suitor and Barbara Westfall.
A retired insurance agent, he enjoyed fishing, following the Dallas Cowboys and especially spending time with his kids and grand kids. He was a member of the Leary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, five children and their spouses, nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016, in the East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana with Bro. Mike Cowart officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
