Mrs. Mary Ann Barnes, formerly of Eudora, AR passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah, Louisiana. She was 78.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Alton Barnes, her father, Jim Jennings and mother(s) Nona Haley Jennings and Elizabeth Douglas Jennings.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her two children, Reba Norris and her husband Pete of Tallulah, LA and Paul (P.D.) Barnes and his wife Becky of Belle Chasse, LA.
Mrs. Barnes is also survived by six sisters and two brothers. Sis Wingo of Greenville, MS; Frankie Crabtree and her husband Hendrix of Eudora, AR ; Recy Reeves and her husband Richard of Springdale, AR; Doug Jennings of Oak Grove, LA; Linda Hill and her husband Hawk of Kilbourne, LA; Jodi Faircloth of Eudora, AR; James Jennings of Pine Bluff, AR; and Donnie Hust of Kilbourne, LA.
“Memaw” is survived by five grandchildren, Julie Pfingsten and her husband Marty of Belle Chasse, LA; Cole Norris of Tallulah, LA; Gary Barnes of Las Vegas, NV; Kelly Norris of Monroe, LA; and Sarah Barnes of Belle Chasse, LA. Four great-grandchildren, Blayke, Macye, and Brayden Brown and Brooklyn Lasseigne. Numerous nieces and nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews.
Visitation will be 8-10am Saturday September 29, 2012 at Eudora Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at 10am at the church with Rev. Gary Traylor officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
