Harla Charlie Beavert, 60, died at his home on Nick Springs Rd. early Thursday after a long illness. Mr. Beavert was employed as a machinist by El dorado Foundry until failing health forced his retirement. He was born in Murfreesboro Feb. 3, 1905, the son of Dave and Dona Stevens Beavert. He had lived in this area for the last 40 years and was a member of Est Faulkner Church of Christ. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louanna Womack Beavert; two sons, Ted Beavert of El Dorado and Jackie Dan Beavert of Dallas, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. H. V. Sulephen of El Dorado, Mrs. Edmond W. McKenna of Little Rock and Miss Jo Ellen Beavert of St. Louis, Mo.; six grandchildren; two brothers, Parla Beavert of Murfreesboro and C. C. Beavert of Benton; and two sisters, Mrs. Monroe Hill and Mrs. Iva Mae Theobolt, both of Dallas. Funeral services have been announced for Friday at 3 p.m. in the East Faulkner Church of Christ with Virgil Scott officiating, assisted by Charles Jackson. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young's. (El Dorado Times - January 6, 1966)
