When Luther Perry (Babe) McEuen was born on June 28, 1900, in White, Arkansas, his father, Archibald, was 33 and his mother, Narcissus, was 29. He married Beatrice Watson on April 20, 1919. He then married Ruby Pearl (Childers). McEuen and they had seven children together. He died on June 26, 1974, in Judsonia, Arkansas, at the age of 73.
