Mr. Archie Albert Gatling, 74. of Star City, Ark., died Friday in a Warren, Ark. hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Young's Chapel in El Dorado. Mr. Gatling was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Warren, Ark. Mr. Gatling, a retire meat cutter, has lived in Star City for the past nine years, moving there from Warren. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Fendley Gatling of Star City; four daughters, Mrs. Eugene Shankle of El Dorado, Mrs. Billie Marie Angell of Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. Marvin Allen of Camden, and Mrs. A. C. Cox of Texarkana, Ark.; two sons, Charles Gatling of Houston, Tex., and Muriel Gatling of Farmington, New Mexico; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Truesdell of Camden, one brother, Russell Gatling of Warren; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
