Velma Owens McVey, 80, died March 7, 2010. Graveside funeral service: Tuesday, March 9, at 1 p.m. at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy. Arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Survivors: Larry McVey (son), Darrell Owens, Jimmy Owens (brothers), Barbara Owens, Mary Bray, Melba Hellums (sisters).
