Jerrol Lee Hoofman, 75, of Judsonia, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016. He was born September 8, 1940 in Judsonia to the late James Plez and Virginia (Wright) Hoofman. He was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church; he enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching NASCAR, and arrowhead hunting. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith (Quattlebaum) Hoofman; son, Ron Hoofman (Keri); daughter, Tammy Beals (Mike); 4 grandsons, Bradley Beals (Casey), Matthew Beals (Michelle), Hayden Hoofman and Coletin Raper; a granddaughter, Stacey King (Dustin); 3 great-grandsons, Brayden King, Mason Beals and Keaton Brahic; a great-granddaughter, Jaci Beals; and numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry Dale Hoofman and a nephew, Ricky Hoofman.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will be Friday, March 4, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at White County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the Two Grey Hills Mission Building Fund c/o Larry Stevens, 473 Moccasin Bend Road, Judsonia, Arkansas 72081.
