Thelma Morris, age 82, of Texarkana, Texas died April 20, 2009, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Morris was born July 1, 1926, in Linden, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband O'Neil Morris.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Phyllis Morris of Texarkana; two grandsons Bryan Morris of San Antonio and Brad Morris of Frisco; a sister Oletha Watson of Whitehouse and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday at East Memorial Gardens with Pastors Danny Wayman and Frank Coats officiating.
