Raymond Nelson Duke, 75, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Duke was born March 19, 1932, in Midway, Texas. He was retired from the Army and the Federal Correctional Institution.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Duke of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Terry Veuleman of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Jody Duke of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Patrick Duke of San Marcos, Texas, Lacey Owenby and Daniel Hayes of Fayetteville, Ark., and Libby Duke and Nate Duke of Little Rock; and one sister.
Graveside services with military rites will be 10 a.m. Monday in East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Baptist Health Foundation, Heart Transplant Service, 9601 I-630 Exit 7, Little Rock, AR 72205.
