Fred Walter Kersten, age 69, of Lake Village died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village, AR. Fred was born April 15, 1948 in California to the late Walter G. Kersten and the late Alice Ruth (Inger) Kersten. Fred was an avid car enthusiast, a member of Delta Men's Association and was in the National Guard.
He is survived by one sister, Jennie Laura (Harold Grady) Mann of Hamburg, AR and one brother, Bob Kersten of Hamburg, AR; two nieces, Theresa Alice Pitman and Kahren Inger Kersten; two nephews, Christopher Walter Mann and Rudolf Earnest Kersten; and a host of friends.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers donation to, Arkansas Children's Hospital Research, 1 Children`s Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, AR 72202.
