Edward L. “Bo” Gilbert, age 70, of Lake Village, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born November 10, 1942 in Rosedale, Mississippi to the late James L. Gilbert and Lillian York Gilbert. He was a US Marine veteran and served 33 years in Law Enforcement, a retired Chicot County Chief Deputy, and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Survivors are his companion of 17 years, Dorlene Smith of Eudora; a special friend, Rusty Case of Arkansas City; host of relatives and close friends.

Memorial service is 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village with Bro. Mike Bell officiating. Arrangements
were made by of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
