Peggy Jo Hill, 72, of Searcy, passed from this life April 27, 2012. She was born November 23, 1939 in Leachville, Arkansas to the late Robert and Almeta Greenfield Patterson. Mrs. Hill loved the Lord and was a member of College Church of Christ in Searcy for over thirty years. She attended the Little Rock School for the Deaf, and later attended and assisted in sign language classes at Harding University. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orbray L. Hill; one son, Larry Alvin Hill; and two sisters. She is survived by one son, Danny Hill and wife Augustina of Searcy; one daughter, Brenda Cossey and husband John of Sherwood; three grandchildren, Mitchell Smithey, Lacey Delk, and D.J. Hill; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack Patterson of Cloverbend, and Roland Patterson of Swifton. Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at White County Memorial Gardens.
