Father: William Spencer Thicksten
Mother: Lela Belle Gipson Forbes
When Edward Burl Thicksten was born in 1927 in Arkansas, his father, William, was 35 and his mother, Lela, was 38. He married on December 23, 1950. He had two children during his marriage. He died on November 29, 1976, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 49, and was buried there.
