SPRINGDALE — Willis "Dewey" Ball, 67, of Springdale died Feb. 10, 2008, at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1941, in Huntsville to Willis Bland and Armintie Harvey Ball.
He was a truck mechanic and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Ball of the home, to whom he was married Feb. 14, 1981; three sons, Michael Ball and wife Judy of Fayetteville, Dewey Eugene Ball and wife Janet of Strickler and Gerald Newell of Springdale; three sisters, Mary Ellen Cate and Luna Bowers, both of Springdale, and Shirley Landelius of Winslow; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Loy Counts officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick Cate, Derek Jackson, Alvin Landelius, Steve Jimmy Ball, Richard Carolton and Ronnie Carter.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Edens.
