When James Franklin Boggs was born on February 24, 1876, in White, Arkansas, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Marthy, was 25. He married Beulah Blanche Leggett on November 28, 1909. They had four children in 11 years. He died in 1962 at the age of 86, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
