Gene Bishop Sr. 81, of Ashdown, AR died Monday June 16, 2014 in a local hospital.
Mr. Bishop was born Sept. 22, 1932, in ashdown, AR. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department, he was a baptist, and a member of the Ashdown Lodge # 581 and 32nd degree Mason. He was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Vance Bishop.
Survivors include one son and Daughter-in-Law Gene Bishop Jr. and wife Rebecca of Ashdown, AR; one Daughter and Son-in-Law Dorothy Peters and husband Jim of Clayton, CA; Five Grandchildren Hannah and Lucas Bishop of Ashdown, AR; Hillary, Madison, and Steven Peters of Clayton, CA.
Graveside services will be Thursday June 19, 2014 at Ashdown Cemetery in Ashdown.
