Mrs. Willadean Perry, age 89 of Mountain Home passed away January 20, 2014 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1924 in Mountain Home to William and Fay Brown Hickman. She married Virgil Perry on October 23, 1948 in Mountain Home.

Mrs. Perry was a long-time member of the Baxter County Extension Homemakers; most recently a member of the Hilltop Club and a former long-time member of the Baxter County Fair Board. She taught at various country schools in the area for several years.

She is survived by a niece, Sharon Alman and a great nephew, Keith Alman, who were her caregivers; niece Donna Alman and her sons David Alman, Dustin Alman and Derek Alman; a nephew Buster Perry; 3 great-great nephews: Gavin Alman, Dylan Alman and Logan Alman; a great–great niece Mollie Alman, all of Mountain Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil Perry, 2 sisters, 2 nieces and a nephew, Bill Alman

Visitation will be from 12-9 PM Wed. Jan. 22, 2014 at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services, conducted by Life Tribute Celebrant Frank Daniels will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Mountain Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mountain Home Cemetery Association.

Virgil F. Perry, age 81 of Mountain Home passed away Monday, July 13, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Virgil was born March 16, 1928 in Arkana to James and Bitha (Barker) Perry. He married Willadean Hickman October 23, 1948 in Mountain Home. Mr. Perry worked as an ironworker and was a lifetime member of Ironworkers #321 in Little Rock.

Virgil F. Perry is survived by his wife, Willadean, of the home; 1 sister Anna Mae Pittaway; 1 brother Carl Perry of Arkana, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including: Sharon Alman, Keith Alman, David Alman, Dustin Alman, Derek Alman, Sue Goodman, Hazel Ungerank, Buster Perry, Peggy Jones, Manuel Macks, Jeannie Hensman, and many others. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Perry will be Noon – 9 PM Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Manuel Macks officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Home Cemetery.
