William E. Siler (Bill), 80, passed away on February 21, 2013, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Bill was born in Indiana on May 4, 1932, to Nova and Ed Siler. He worked in the family vending business as a youth and later as a truck driver. Bill also worked in a career in construction.
In 1985, he came to Arkansas in semi-retirement and loved spending hours on the lake with family and friends, traveling the country in his RV, and he especially enjoyed his work with a veterinarian.
He is survived by his wife, Buff (Engeler, Snyder); a brother, Jack (wife Sarah), of Lakeland, FL; two sons, Daniel Siler of Superior, WI, John McDonald Snyder, Jr. (wife Catherine), of Little Rock, AR; a daughter, Margee Snyder Taylor (husband John), of Benton, AR; six grandchildren, Dominic Siler, Aaron Siler (wife Jackie), Joel Siler, Tasha Ra'ja Bryan Snyder, John McDonald Snyder III, William Augustus Snyder and several nieces and nephews.
A man accomplished in many varied fields, his favorite expression was "I know just enough to be dangerous". This was not a fact. Bill knew enough to help many people with whatever was needed. He always found a way.

The second of six children, she grew up on a dairy farm near Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Pike Township High School where she participated in many activities including softball and acting in the junior and senior plays, and was a member of 4-H, Girl Scouts and Campfire Girls.

Following high school, she attended Indiana University and St. Mary's of the Woods and graduated from Butler University with her teaching degree. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. After several years, she married Bill Siler and retired from Teaching in 1994. In retirement she and Bill RV'd in winters to either Florida or Texas, visiting friends and touring the sights and beaches.

A sports fan extraordinaire, Buff was a long-time fan of Peyton Manning, Tiger Woods, and had recently added Johnny Football to this favored group. She enjoyed Razorback sports and autumn Saturdays were spent watching the marathon of televised football games. Friday nights she followed her son-in-laws football games throughout his coaching career, attending in all weather all over the state, yelling with the best of fans.
