Arne Melvin Dahl, 82 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died June 17, 2016 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. Born June 8, 1934 in Santa Monica, California, he was the son of Roy Dahl and Solveig Schau Dahl. Arne graduated with a Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force, where he served for 22 years. Arne was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Arne married Alice Hunt Laeger on January 7, 2007 in Siloam Springs. He was a member of the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Solveig Dahl; his first wife, Herteline Dahl; and one sister, Dr. Sylvia Dahl-Winters.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Dahl; one daughter, Kay Medders and husband Cross of Streetman, Texas; two sons, Richard Dahl of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Brent Dahl and wife Kay of Wimberley, Texas; one stepson, Frank Wilson of Siloam Springs; one stepdaughter, Sherri Reyes and husband Art of Alliance, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Sonja Fogle of Temple, Texas; one nephew and one niece.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Glenn Hill officiating.
