Kenneth Duane Cantrel, 61, of Westville, OK passed away at his home on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Kenneth was born on August 19, 1952 in Siloam Springs, a son of Oscar Kenneth Cantrel and Margaret Faye Cantrel. He married Laura Lee on July 7, 1995 in Reno, NV. Kenneth worked for the Baldor Electric Company for 36 years before his retirement, was a motorcycle enthusiast and attended the Summers Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Lee of the home; one son, Chris and wife Shannan Lee of Lincoln; one daughter, Andrea Cantrel of Jenks, OK; four grandsons, Jacob Cantrel of Jenks, OK, Dalton and Cayden Lee of Lincoln, AR, and Tyler Choate of Westville, OK; along with several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Barbara Cantrel and Beverly Marveggio, and one granddaughter, Carey Ann Wooldridge.

Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00pm. Brother Paul Young will officiate the service with burial being held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
