Mr. Jackie Wilson, age 69 of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Friday April 5, 2019, in Hope, Arkansas.
Jackie was born on September 12, 1949, in Prescott, Arkansas to Lonnie J and Elizabeth Harris Wilson. Jackie has accomplished so many things, Jackie joined the Marine Corp as Force Recon on 1/29/1969 through 1/02/1972 with Honorable Discharge. Jackie then received his embalming license on July 15th 1976. Later in life after hanging sheet rock, working with the phone company, and delivering milk; he then went back to school and received his RN license after working as a nurse for several years. Jackie went back to school in North Dakota to receive his PA license where the practiced for several years. He was very skillful and loved by so many of his patients.
Jackie was a member of the Banshee motorcycle club Texarkana chapter for many years. Jackie not only was successful in his many careers and accomplishments he told more than once that the birth of his beautiful daughters was at the very top of his list. He said so many times he wished he had done so many things different, but Sherry loved him, not one of us is perfect and your girls know how much you loved them. Jackie had the most compassionate heart and such an amazing spirit. He was able to relate to all different people in different social and economic levels, and made everyone feel important and cared for.
Proceeded in death by Lonnie Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, and baby Grace.
Survivors include; wife Sherry Wilson, three daughters; Staci Morgason, husband Stephen, Hollie Hudson, husband Eric, Misti Thomas, husband Jody, step- daughter Lauren Cox, two step- sons Richard and Blake Cox, nine grandchildren, Carron Morgason, Callie Morgason, Wilson Morgason, Talon Morgason, Madison Thomas, McKenzee Thomas, Marli Thomas, Ella Hudson, Presley Hudson and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday April 8, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Hwy 371 W Prescott, Arkansas 71857
Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Tuesday April 9, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Cornish with Mr. Lynn Vanderveer officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Home Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel Director.
