When David Columbus Walker was born on March 11, 1885, in Ozark, Missouri, his father, John, was 37 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 29. He married Millie Veanver/Vanderford Lambert on October 25, 1907, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. They had ten children in 21 years. He died on July 27, 1961, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried there.
