Roger Dale Nyberg, Sr., 67, of Rogers, died July 17 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
He was born May 24, 1951 in Cloquet, Minnesota to William and Lucille Nyberg. He married Susan Carol Randa June 22, 1969 and then moved to Arkansas in 1984 to make his home. He worked and retired from Wal-Mart Distribution Warehouse and loved old cars, especially '57 Fords. He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Justin Klein.
Survivors are his wife of forty-nine years, Susan Nyberg of the home; his children, Rhonda Mattson (Jeff) of Lowell, Roxann Maish (Corey) of Rogers, Rena Olson (John) of Garfield, Roger Nyberg, Jr. of Reno, Nevada and Randy Nyberg of Rogers; three brothers, Gary Nyberg of Texas, David Nyberg of Esko, Mn., Donald Nyberg of Cromwell, Mn.; two sisters, Sharon and Karen Anderson of Cromwell,Mn.; grandchildren, Kyra Klein, Sunny Olson, Mattie Mattson, John Olson, Jr., Ashley Sumner, Hunter Maish, Abby Maish, Ariel Mincke, Roger, Rashele, River and Jackson; one great-grandchild, Kaleigh Leland.
Service is set for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 21 at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Buttram Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. Friday, July 20 at the funeral home.
