When Malina Frances Owen was born on April 26, 1849, in Tennessee, her father, William, was 31, and her mother, Karrenhappock, was 29. She had six children with Wren Saunders. She also had one son with Unknown Gale. She then married Christopher Wren Saunders and they had six children together. She died on December 10, 1928, at the age of 79, and was buried in Walker, Arkansas.
