Willie Fern May, 77, of Nashville, passed away January 11, 2018. She was born June 21, 1940, in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Jadie H. Gilbert and Ovierene McClendon Gilbert.
Ms. May was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Hope. She had retired from the Tyson Hatchery and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Ms. May is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Franklin Odell May; her sister Shirley Ann Gilbert, and a son, Tony Hosey.
She is survived by her son Jimmy May (Tiffany); her daughter, Terri Stroud; three brothers, Jerry Gilbert (Dorothy), Billy Gilbert, Bruce Gilbert; two sisters, Barbara Anderson (Andy), Selena McKnight (Terry); two grandchildren, Brandy Givens (Mark), and Michael Rodgers; and two great-grandchildren, Baylee and Blane Jones, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Latimer Funeral Home Nashville from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M.
Services will also be Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Bingen Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
