When Alexander S. Froman was born on July 27, 1863, in Kentucky, his father, Wesley, was 48 and his mother, Catherine, was 36. He married Ida Belle Phelps and they had seven children together. He also had two children with Lelia E Froman. He died on December 19, 1942, at the age of 79, and was buried in Walker, Arkansas.
