Avonell "Nell" House Nutt, 91, of Glenwood, formerly of Fordyce, died Thursday July 29, 2010 at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. Born March 23, 1919 at Holy Springs, she was a daughter of the late Winfield Johnson House and Amanda Carlee Key House. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fordyce.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew C. Nutt, two brothers and seven sisters. Survivors are three sons Jimmy C. (Janis) Nutt of Glenwood, Martin (Karen) Nutt of Little Rock, Stacy (Penny) Nutt of Kirby; two daughters Jane (Cass) Kowalski of North Little Rock, Mandy (Charles) Scantling of Mt. Ida; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5 to 8 PM Sunday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday at Benton Funeral Home. Burial at New Holly Springs Cemetery.
