ROGERS - Steve Randall Gattis, 69, of Rogers, Ark., passed away suddenly in Midwest City, Okla., Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014. He was born July 12, 1945, in Paris, Ark., to Wallace Noble Gattis and Margaret Geneva Martin Gattis.

Steve was dedicated to The Lord and displayed Godly character traits of kindness, love and compassion. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather, was so proud of his family and loved them dearly.

Steve worked for many years leading construction teams across the country with Walmart.

He is survived by his precious wife of 50 years, Beverly Holt Gattis; son, Shawn Gattis and wife, Tammy of Pasco, Washington; daughter, Kellie Gattis of Rogers; two brothers, Wallace Martin Gattis of Barling, Ark.; Noel Wayne Gattis of Little Rock, Ark.; one granddaughter, Sammantha and one great-granddaughter, Kamerann. He opened his heart to so many and loved them as his very own, especially Lee and Sue Dobrowolski and their children Andrew and Jillian.

A celebration of Steve's life will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at Cross Church at Pinnacle Hills with burial at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made in honor of Steve Gattis to the American Heart Association, 10900-B Stonelake Blvd., Suite 320, Austin, TX 78759.
