ROGERS — Robert Bradley "Bob" Borden, 73, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was born March 10, 1941, to the late Roy N. and Anna Jo Borden in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
For many years he was active in the insurance industry in Little Rock, Dallas, Texas, and Bentonville. He served his country in the Air National Guard.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Susan Lynn Borden.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Cindy Borden of Rogers; his granddaughter, Kristin (Mark) Mobley of Louisville, Ky.; mother-in-law, Inez Brown of Bentonville; two brothers-in-law, Larry Brown and his wife, Pete, who he loved to call Mary Patricia Brown, and Garry Brown, a nephew, Jeremy (Sara) Brown, a niece, Melanie Brown of Hot Springs, and a great-nephew and niece, Zack and Abby Brown, all of Hot Springs.
Survivors also include, Lynda Williams of Little Rock, who he considered his second mother and she considered her son. His "adopted" family also includes, Craig and Delma Peterson of Rogers, and Jon (Jackie) Patterson and their daughters, Ava, Kaylee and Emily of Bentonville.
Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at Hunt Chapel, 5930 Wallis Road, Rogers, with funeral at 2:30 p.m., also at Hunt Chapel. Interment will follow in Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers.
Memorials are suggested to Cross Church in Rogers.
Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
