Joseph Kyler PARSONS

Ellis Chapel Cemetery
White County,
Arkansas

Feb 15, 1991 - Jan 25, 2020

Joseph Kyler Parsons, 28, of Searcy Arkansas earned his angel wings Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home in Searcy. He was born February 15, 1991 in Searcy to Paul D. Parsons Jr. and Christina Kay Rogers Parsons. Joseph was known to many as Joe, and to some as JoJo. He was a kind, loving soul to all who knew him. He had a witty sense of humor, and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a son, brother, uncle, and dear friend to all. He loved his Lord, spending time with his family, playing video games, and spending time with close friends.

Although unable to get out much over the last 12 to 18 months due to health issues from Duchanne Muscular Dystrophy, he enjoyed the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were favorite pastimes that he loved. He was also involved with a ministry called Hope Outdoors.

Left to cherish Joseph's memory are his parents; his sister Victoria Parsons; three nieces Avery, Lainey, and Presley Smith; grandparents Diane and Sam Word, Debbie and Jim Cook, Nancy and James Rogers; numerous aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins.

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandfather Paul D. Parsons Sr., and his uncle Joshua J. Rogers.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Searcy First Assembly, with burial in Ellis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.smithfamilycares.com
