Bertha Tucker, 72, of McRae, passed away November 11, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born August 7, 1946 at Des Arc to the late Herbert and Ruby Waggle Stephens.
Ms. Tucker loved being with family, grandkids, and her many friends she made through the years. She enjoyed her time at Beverly Health Care where she was an Environmental Specialist and CNA for 29 years. She enjoyed all the ballgames she attended for her children and grandchildren and loved traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and William Stephens.
She is survived by two sons, Eddy Ray Light (Karen) of Judsonia and Brad Light (Abbie) of Beebe; two daughters, Carla Usery (Mike) of Higginson and Donna Coughlin of McRae; eleven grandchildren, Derrick, Jared, Emma, Drake, Olivia, Sophie, Maggie, Jake, Dan, Paul, and Penny; four great grandchildren, Lizzy, Lakin, Mia, and Willow; five brothers, Thelbert Stephens (Carol) of Cabot, Frankie Stephens (Sue) of Higginson, Arthur Stephens (Suzie) of Pottsville, Robert “Chubby” Stephens of Higginson, and James Phillips of Higginson, two sisters, Brenda Stephens of Higginson and Glenda Light (Arnold) of Heber Springs; as well as many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 15 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial following at Ellis Chapel Cemetery.
