Franklin Thomas Stratton was born on May 11, 1842, in Denmark. He had one son and one daughter with Lula Arnold between 1883 and 1885. He died on May 7, 1929, in Higginson, Arkansas, at the age of 86, and was buried in Walker, Arkansas.
