George E. Stockburger, 64, of West Fork died this morning at the Veterans Hospital. He was born in Washington County, near West Fork, October 20, 1892 the son of Ed and Mary Curtis Stockburger, and married Clara Fawbush, May 1, 1919. Mr. Stockburger was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He had been employed as a clerk in the West Fork Post Office for the past 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; one son Doyle of Fort Smith; three brothers, Troy and Loyd Stockburger of Fayetteville Calvin Stockburger of West Fork, two sisters, Mrs. Gid Walker of West Fork, Mrs. W A. Emerson of Fayetteville; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in West Fork by the Rev. Wayne Danner of Fayetteville. Burial will be in the West Fork cemetery with arrangements in charge of Watson's Mortuary.

Mrs. Clara Fawbush Stockburger, 74, of West Fork, died Thursday in a local hospital. Born April 6, 1895 at Sulphur City, the daughter of Henry B. and Mary Boaz Fawbush, she was a Baptist.
Survivors are one son, Doyle of Fort Smith; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Ray of West Fork; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the West Fork Baptist Church with burial in West Fork Cemetery under direction of Watson Mortuary.
