Monday, May 17, 1971
Mrs. Hazel Newlin, 53, of West Fork, died Sunday in a local hospital. Born Oct. 21, 1917 at West Fork, the daughter of Lake and Elsie Doke Carter, she was a Presbyterian.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Peggy Smothers of Springdale, Mrs. Shirley Smith of West Fork and Mrs. Jackie Long of Fayetteville; one son, Doug of the home; one brother, Kenneth Carter of Krebs, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Barlow of Springdale And Mrs. Helen Reynolds of Tulsa and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson's Funeral Chapel with burial in West Fork Cemetery.
