Pauline Evans Atkins, age 89, of Eudora, passed away Sunday February 22, 2015 at Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born February 25, 1925 in Oak Grove, LA to the late Jesse (Jess) Evans and Nora Southern Evans. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Eudora. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Nora Evans, daughter, Diane Session, husband, Odis C. Atkins, sister, Noly Lee, 4 brothers, W.L. Evans, Luther (Luke) Evans, Dick Evans, and Mallard (Pete) Evans. Survivors are special niece Deborah Evans Layton, and special nephew, Jesse Dean Evans and host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation is 12:00pm-2:00pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 with Funeral Services following at 2:00pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home with Rev. James Kitchens officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
