Jewell Opal Brock, 94, died Wednesday. She was born August 18, 1918. Ms. Brock was a former school teacher. She loved to keep scrapbooks and memorabilia from her life time. Survivors include one son, Tommy Brock; two grandsons, Scott Brock and Jason Brock; a granddaughter, Amanda Brock; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jacie, Lexie, and Blakley Brock. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Brock. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Sunday, 2:00 p.m., Powell Funeral Home Chapel-Searcy. Interment will follow in White County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
