May Belle Petty of Eudora passed away on January 25, 2015, at the age of 73 in Lake Village, Arkansas. She was born in Eudora, Arkansas to Mike and Elsie Smith on November 21, 1941. She attended Eudora High School till the Eleventh grade. She is preceded in death by her first husband Owen Purvis, both her parents, her sister Mary-Dean and her baby brother Jimmy. She is survived by her husband Ernie Petty, her son Charles Purvis (wife Susan) of Eudora, AR, daughter Rebecca Sibert (husband Joe) of Springdale, AR, daughter Barbara Berry (husband Ronald ) of Virginia Beach, VA, daughter Peggy Fox (husband Rodney) of Modesto, CA, brother Raymond Smith of Geronimo, Ok, sister Syble Schneider of Swansea, IL, brother Mike Smith Jr. of Eudora, AR, sister Katy Ostrowski of Kilborne, LA, sister Vivian Coddington of Portales, NM, brother Lonnie Smith of Marshall, TX, sister Diana Barley of Warren, AR, her eight grandchildren, five great grand-children and twenty-four nieces/nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 4-6pm and the Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 2pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village, AR. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, AR. Flowers/Plants can be sent to the funeral home in her name.
