William “Bill” Owens, Jr., age 91 of Monticello, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at The Woods Health and Rehab in Monticello. He was born January 25, 1925 in Drew County, AR to the late Will H. Owens, Sr. and Virgie Forrest Owens.

He was a retired boat builder for MonArk Boat Company, a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant son; a grandson, Jon Owens; and a sister, Freddie Mae Owens Coslin.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Geneva Judkins Owens of Monticello; three sons, Ricky Owens, Ronnie Owens and wife Judy and Randy Owens and wife Stacey all of Monticello; one daughter, Debbie Owens (David Kinzalow) of Monticello; four grandsons, Michael Owens and wife Anna of Spokane, WA, Buddy Owens and wife Josi of Greenbrier, Jesse English and wife Caitlin of Searcy and Hank Hill of Monticello; one granddaughter, Rebecca Owens of Monticello; four great-grandsons, Lucas, Logan, Levi and Alex, one great-granddaughter, Allie; several nieces, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Gaster Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
