TRAYLOR, Nannie Irene – Mrs. Traylor Dies Here Monday – Mrs. Nannie Irene Traylor, Bentonville’s oldest resident, died at the family home here at 6 o’clock Monday evening, one day after her 94th birthday.
Mrs. Traylor, the widow of the late Rev. R.M. Traylor, former pastor of the Bentonville Methodist Church, was born at McNary, Tennessee March 17, 1846, the daughter of Thomas and Katherine Walsh.
She was married in Clark County, Arkansas on May 18, 1871 and moved to Benton County in 1897.
Mrs. Traylor is survived by four sons, Robert and Flave Traylor, both of Bentonville, Henry Traylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and J. Mortimer Traylor of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; by two daughters, Mrs. (**unreadable**) of Oklahoma City and Miss Norma Traylor of Bentonville, by 11 grandchildren and by three great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at the home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by Rev. W.F. Cooley, pastor of the Bentonville Methodist Church. Burial was in the Bentonville cemetery under the direction of the Burns Funeral home.
