December 1, 1900 - November 21, 1975
Jesse Peterson, 74, of Reader, died in St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs at 8:15 a.m. Thursday. The funeral was to have been held at 2 p.m. today at the Reader Baptist Church. Burial was to have been in Turner Cemetery near Reader, under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. He was a retired mechanic for the Reader Railroad and a life long resident of Ouachita County. He is survived by two granddaughters, Mrs. Vicki Sparr of Hot Springs and Mrs. Micki Thurow of North Little Rock; one brother, Hobert Peterson of Reader; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Butler of Reader and Mrs. Kledia Bratton of Camden; one great-grandchild, five nieces and five nephews.
