Mrs. Esta Maloch, aged 66, formerly of Camden died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Doris Parnell in Ft. Worth, Texas Tuesday evening. Mrs. Maloch moved to Ft. Worth in September of 1955 after living in Camden for about 32 years. She was a member of the West Washington Street Church of Christ. She was born April 8, 1890 at Ledbetter, Texas the daughter of Scott and Mary S. Mullins Gillespie. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Loren Proffitt of Camden, Mrs. Doris Parnell of Ft. Worth, and Mrs. Cloelis Lindsey of Dallas; two brothers, Fred Gillespie of Little Rock, and Cleve Gillespie of Los Angeles, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Ed Bates of Waco, Texas, Mrs. Lillian Warren of Camden, Mrs. Agnes Brandon of Magnolia, Mrs. Alma Yates of Haynesville, La. and Mrs. Ethel Rushton of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and by four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the West Washington Street Church of Christ by Glen Parks of Lewisville. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Active bearers are W. C. Gavin, H. L. Arrington, Carl Haltom, Calvin Spain, Jewell Warren, Rex Warnock, and Herbert Garner. The body will arrive in Camden at 6:20 a.m. Thursday by Missouri Pacific R.R. (Camden News - December 19, 1956)
