September 3, 1890 - October 18, 1971
Mrs. Vetie Jackson Clements, of 818 Ft. Lookout Manor, died early Monday morning in a local hospital, following a brief illness. Mrs. Clements, widow of Rev. Peter N. Clements, was born September 3, 1890 in Crews, Alabama, and had lived in Camden for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Phebean Sunday School Class. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. E. Grabert, Jr. of Camden; one brother, Fred Jackson of Norphlet; three grandchildren, Mrs. Bob Dudney of Texarkana, Barry L. Crow of Pine Bluff, Mrs. Jim Ledbetter of Houston, Texas, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel. (Camden News - October 18, 1971)
